Scope of Works
Zack Contractors Ltd were employed by Kier on behalf of Croydon Council to undertake highway improvement works at Parchmore / Whitehorse Road junctions in Thornton Heath.
We were contracted to fully reconstruct all existing footways and carriageways to suit the new design layout, liaising closely with the client and key stakeholders including the London Borough of Croydon (LBC) and Transport for London (TFL).
Works undertaken included:
- Installation of Surface Water Drainage (Manholes, Gullies, Drainage Channel etc.)
- Street Lighting / Traffic Signals (Service Ducts, Access Chambers, NAL Sockets etc.)
- Reconstruction of all Footways Using Granite Paving / Kerbs to Adoptable Standards
- Reconstruction / Resurfacing of all Paved Carriageways
- Installation of Reinforced In-Situ Concrete Planter and Stone Cladding
- Installation of Pedestrian Guard Railing
Zack Contractors Ltd had early involvement with the client and key stakeholders to efficiently manage time scales and expectations and to ensure works were completed to a high standard, within budget and to the agreed deadlines set by the local authority and TFL.
